Soccer

Last night was the first night of Spyder soccer. Both Esther and Van got to play, Esther at 6:15 and Van at 7:15. I went straight from work to meet them on the field. Luckily there is a playground by the field, so if you weren't playing soccer you could play there. My friend Rachel even stopped by with her kiddos to visit.

Esther did pretty good. She ran around like a champ, until about halfway through the game when she was likely to end up sitting on my blanket. I could usually urge her to get back in. There's not much to do though, unless you like joining the big clump, following the ball back and forth down the field.

Then it was Van's turn.

Great, beautiful, hectic night. I came home and slept well.
