Pants

Esther does not like her pants (or tights) to go above her bellybutton. If I pull them up higher she says, "No, not on my tummy." Today she 'corrected' my pants, which is a problem because all maternity pants go above your bellybutton. She pulls them down for me (when she kisses my tummy) and says, "See, only your shirt over your tummy."
Good thing she knows how everything should work.

Van still wears his clothes inside out, backwards and 2 sizes too big or small, depending on what he can find. Things are easier for him.

Happy Easter

Sadly we did not get a cute Easter picture. I had the kids dressed up for our brunch date at the Posey's, but we never caught them at a still moment.

Instead here are some photos from the 6AM Easter egg hunt. Van woke up at 6AM on Saturday because he thought it was Easter and then again on Sunday for the real Easter.

First he got the lay of the land.

"Whoa the Easter bunny spoiled me this year!"

Then at 6:45 he 'accidently' woke Esther up and followed her around, showing her where all her eggs were hidden.

They each had toy sets, Esther's had a canoe, so they wanted to take them into the tub.

Happy Easter everyone!

Ride home

Grandpa gave Van and Esther a ride home in style

Reading with Grandma

Esther reading one of her favorite books with grandma. She has a small copy to follow along with.

Sledding at Service

After skiing, we went to Rachael's house to watch the Syracuse game (they won) and eat spaghetti. Then the kids and I went to Service. We met Mila, a girl in Van's class, and her family.
The sledding was great the snow was great for making snowmen. Here is Esther stopping for a snowman break.

Skiing

On Sunday we met Beth, Brian, Rachael, Zach and Svea for skiing. Rachael and I skied with Esther and Mira who were close enough to the same speed (quite slow). But it was nice to walk and talk. Svea, Beth and Zach took the older kids around both halves of the Spencer loop! An impressive feat for all involved. Here are some picture she sent me of the trip.

Get Air

Following the tube park, we ate at Qdoba, and then went to Get Air. It was a pretty fancy day.

 Van using his new skills

Esther is going to be a climber too.

At first I kept them separate because there is an area for under 46" and over 46", but I thought it was really cute that they wanted to play together. So eventually I let them, until one of the staff kicked Esther out of the big kid area.
