Jon's 6 month appt

Andy took Jon to his 6 month check up. He got the stats on all the babies.

Esther was the biggest. Van was the longest. And Jon has the biggest head.

Here they all are in real time. Jon rolls over and starts looking too much like a mobile baby....

Jon's first cereal

Jon did pretty well with his first rice cereal.
Cute as can be.
Plus he had the most eager helpers in the world with Esther and Van.
Esther washed the high chair herself just to get it ready for him to sit in.

Shockwave

Svea was out of town for the weekend so I got to take the Lunoes to Shockwave. We had bought tickets for the girls birthday back in September, so I'm glad we finally got to use them.

Happy Birthday to me!

I turned 33 last week.
Van made me breakfast, and Andy made me cupcakes. I spent the whole day playing with my family, except a couple hour trip for some x-c skiing with Rachael. Then we ordered Thai food. It was a great day.

Van: "Mom, I worked really hard on that card. I didn't even care about starting my video games."

That is significant because Van is allowed to play video games from 7-8AM, and so he usually starts up the minute it turns 7. It may be cardboard and sharpie, but it is pretty good handwriting for him.

Haircuts

Van has the most glorious hair. (so does Esther for that matter, but this story isn't about her. yet.)

So I was putting off cutting it. It's so beautiful and blonde. He looks like a little surfer. But one day I was looking at him and I realized his hair had been cut short above his eyes.

Me: "Van, have you been cutting your own bangs?"
Van: "Yes! It gets in my eyes."

Poor guy. Obviously a haircut was past due. So Andy shaved it off.

But he wasn't the only one. I cut 1" on Esther's hair, but she wasn't satisfied with that so she cut it shoulder length over her left shoulder. I finished the job for her. We loved her long hair, but I love it short too.

Trek to Grandma's house

I got some new boots that I needed to show grandma. So I packed everyone up and headed over. (Van is at school).

Esther's Yoga Class

Today is my Friday off.
I noticed that there was a Yoga class at Anchorage Yoga for 3-6 year olds. I decided to take Esther.

Did you think that yoga for 3 year olds sounds ridiculous. Well it was. But also adorable.

We were early, so Esther had fun looking around the fancy dressing room.

She even found a cute girl to hug.

We put our stuff in a locker and headed to the studio.

She sat on her mat

Other kids showed up.

And they did some yoga.
