Yesterday Esther got some money and she is planning to buy a pickle. For flowers. You know, you put the flowers in it, after you pick them. A pickle. (she might be saying 'picker', but it sounds like pickle.)
I love the things Esther says and how she says them. She is very precise and literal. She is not whimsical, she does not like you saying things that are not the way they actually are.
"Esther, you are such a sweet pea"
"No. I a people."
But because this is her base frame of mind, these types of jokes can make her laugh when she's in the mood.
But I also want to remember that she says, 'we-selves' instead of 'ourselves' because it is so cute.
She loves helping (except for when she doesn't), but when she's set to do it, she's the best sweetest little helper. "I'm going to be the best person in the whole world" she told me once.
I know.
