Girdwood skate park

We went down to the skate park this morning. The kids were so cute. We had the place to ourselves at first.

They loved the Kombucha mom made us.

Van with some sweet moves.

Little sandbox break.

Then my friend Merrick came with her daughter Solveig. Solveig is just about a week or two younger than Esther.

I love this. The girls just hanging out while the kids do tricks.

Just hanging out at the skatepark. nbd.

Rainbow hike

Saturday night was Lauren's last night in town so we went on a hike.

This is me taking selfies waiting for her to arrive.

Lauren starting up Rainbow.

At the first knoll, which was the top for us.

Some fancy timer work for a picture together.

She even took an action shot for me of the run down.

We lost Mo Man at the top, but luckily found him later.

We'll miss you Lauren! It was so fun to have her here this summer.

Blueberry picking

The blueberries are here early this year!
Rachael and Emily and their kids came picking with us on the back side of Flattop.

First I told Esther we were going to Grandma and Grandpas to borrow the blueberry buckets. So she went to the fridge and grabbed these.

So we traded blueberries for blueberry buckets.

Mira and Esther picking.

Van is saying, 'I'm a blueberry picking pro!' here.

 Blueberry ballerina

This was the boys secret blueberry spot. There were a lot of berries here.

After an hour or so, blueberry picking lost its appeal, and everyone played in the trees instead.

(Esther has chocolate face, first day with no nap, so I brought chocolate chips to bribe her)

Rachael and her mother in law

We did great, I got a big gallon ziploc of blueberries, I froze them, we'll likely eat them with cereal throughout the year.
