Another beautiful morning to wake up to
This is the view from the other side of that shot.
We spent a lot of time getting around on the 4-wheeler. This was my attempt to document it.
Often we would follow the kids on their bikes, they were really motivated bikers.
Biking through town
part of the Kennicott museum
Here was a cool lake at the toe of the glacier. You could watch the boulder sliding off the glacier as the sun slowly melted the ice.
Some big rocks look ready to fall
Van found some much that stuck like peanut butter. He was instantly in love.
Jon surveying the scene.
At the cabin, Jon learned how to move by sliding around on his stomach. So all of his onsies were filthy.
The rock hunting here was so fun.
We spent a lot of time on this trip searching for fun rocks. McCarthy/Kennicott is full of interesting geology.
This was a fun dog that roamed around the town. He looked like a dachshund mixed with a lab or something.
Some cool machinery going by.
One of my favorite rocks I collected.
Then Esther wanted a picture of her hand.
Jon and his daddy.
And the rest of the hooligans.
