Kids day

Usually on the weekend I'll search to see if there is any fair or festival going on. Last night I found something called, "Kid's Day, a day to celebrate kids in Anchorage"
I thought that sounded promising, and it was right across from my office so I knew we'd have parking.

It turned out to be pretty fun. All the summer camps and programs had booths and they had free stuff for the kids to do so that hte parents would sign them up for their programs. Luckily we were there really early, but 1 hour it, it was so crowded that you couldn't do any of the activities without waiting in long lines.

Here we are in the car, waiting

First activity the kids made playdough

Van watched a puppet show

Van got a Karate lesson

We  played with the Kalidoscope toys

Van got to do a 1:1 soccer challenge, although the boy he went against was older than him. He still managed to score a point.

He played tennis

Shot a bow and arrow
 Got his hair colored

Got to touch a real set of lungs and hearts

Then some Seahawks players were there, on the stage there I think is Justin Britt, and Michael Bennet was signing autographs.

Anyway it was fun, there was more to do but it was quickly getting too crowded and we had to head home for a nap.
