Flattop

Yesterday was a pretty epic day.
The kids and I
 - hiked flattop
 - biked to O'Malley Elementary school, played on the playground and biked home
 - went to an all-star Anchorage basketball game
 - went out to eat
 - visited grandma and grandpa in the new shop

It was a full day and I don't have pictures of everything, but I did take quite a few on our hike. Van is getting to be an excellent hiker. We didn't go all the way to the top, because we were trying to be out at the same time as Kyle and Svea. We started at the time as them and while they went all the way to the top of peak 2, we turned around when we saw them coming down so we would all end at about the same time. But Van still had energy at the bottom and wished we had gone all the way up.
It's going to be a great year for hiking.

 Esther didn't walk at all, we were just stopped here for a break. She's going to have a harder time learning to hike since I have to carry her to keep up with Van.
