An afternoon with Van

I got to pick up Van from pre-school today. Esther was still napping so Van and I decided to go on a picnic.

First we stopped by the store and grabbed our food.

Then we went to one of our old stomping grounds, John's Park.

We did some exploring.

And of course we had to jump back and forth across this stream several times.

With and without shoes for Van.

Here is our picnic food.

Then Van found a friend, it turns out this little boy goes to the same pre-school as him! They played and played.
