Rochester, NY

On the last day in NY we drove to Rochester where I would catch my plane to Denver with the kids and Andy and Dave would drive to their Phish Magnaball festival.

There was a famous children's museum there. Andy didn't want to go. I did. I spent the drive telling him how good the reviews were. He relented, but I wish he hadn't. It was too crowded and too much. It was my least favorite of all the places we visited, but we were short on time, trying to do it in a hurry and I was tired. I think it was good, it was full of places to play pretend, but there were just too many kids. I was overwhelmed. Van said he liked it though.

They had a Berenstein Bears section.

I did like this part of the pirate ship. Van and I would write notes to each other and then run them back and forth on this line with a clothespin.

Esther and I scaling a building in the Spiderman section. nbd.

They did have a pretend Wegmans here. If we had more time, I would have played there.
