Ithaca, NY

Then out of the blue, Van got a flu bug. He threw up all night. About 12 hours. The next day we were all unsure about what to do. Dave and Maggie took their kids and went into Ithaca. We both stayed with Van for a while but when he took an afternoon nap Esther and I decided to drive into Ithaca to explore. There was thunder and lightening when we first arrived, but we waited it out and eventually decided to walk around Cornell's campus.

side note: I don't have a picture of the best part of Ithaca, which was Wegmans. The greatest grocery store I had ever seen.

Here is Esther waiting in Cornell's Food Science center where we ordered ice cream.

Some beautiful building on campus.

Trying to look very sophisticated.

 Found some campus walking trails.

This is supposed to be the DaliLama's North American Residence. It was closed for the summer though.

Esther enjoying the sidewalks

Luckily we enjoyed our awesome day exploring Ithaca because that night, Esther and I got the flu as well....
