As soon as I stepped into the airport I realized how much I had missed Colorado.
We didn't stay nearly long enough, and I wish Andy could have seen it too.
We split our three days between Saige's downtown apartment and Anna-Liisa's house in the suburbs. We didn't do nearly as much exploring of downtown Denver as I would have liked, but the kids were still not on ideal sleeping schedules and required delicate care. My friend Susanne drove in from Sterling to visit one afternoon with her son Joseph and her 9 month pregnant belly (she left her 15 month old at home).
It was so fun!
Me and Saige
Getting some ice cream.
Saige, Me, Anna-Liisa and Tennyson.
Esther and Saige by the water
Random pictures of Anna-liisa's house. I liked her chairs and we need chairs so I documented all her chair choices.
Van playing Minecraft
Esther and Tennyson playing in the yard
She's just helping him climb the retaining wall.
Me and Anna-Liisa (and Van)
The very tired walk home from the park. Everyone was tired. Only two kids were crying and throwing tantrums (guess which two...hint, they're both mine)
I judged each town by their yogurt selection. Denver won. This is yogurt heaven.
A fun community center near Anna-Liisa's house. This circle pool was awesome. Esther is waiting for Van to go by.
There was also a crocodile slide that Tennyson could not get enough of.
