Esther went to her two month appointment today.
Here are her stats:
weight: 13 lbs 13.5 oz, 92nd percentile
height: 24.75 inches, >99th percentile
head circumference: 51st percentile
The way they measure height is to lay the baby down on the table, mark at the top of her head and stretch out the leg and mark where the bottom of the heel lies then measure between the marks with a tape measure. It's a rough estimate, and my guess is at birth they measured a bit short at 20 inches. But still, to grow 4 or 5 inches in 2 months is impressive.
Unfortunately she also had to get 3 shots, and after that she cried nearly anytime she was awake for the rest of the day. :(
