Long Beach Day 2

This day is devoted to the Aquarium by the Bay. A short bus ride from our hotel.

I woke up and the kids were quiet. I assumed they must be watching TV, but no, they were being so good, playing cards in their bedroom. Van was even helping Esther so she could win. I love the first hour of the day.

It's ok if the birds land on you, but you can't try to touch them or pick them up. Here the kids are trying to will this bird onto their hand. He was not moved.

We took a break in the middle of the day to buy matching family converse sneakers at the nearby outlet mall.

 Watched a street artist.

Then back to the aquarium.

Esther climbed up and wanted me to take this picture. But then she was mad when Van climbed up too.

 Esther was melting down after a trip to the grocery store so Andy is distracting her with some Pokemon.
