Van gets a Mohawk

It started out as a normal trip Bed Bath and Beyond to get a duvet cover for Van's comforter.

Then there was a hair salon next door.
Angie's True Colors Hair  (these ladies were great by the way, super fun)

Mostly I wanted to get Esther's hair cut, it tangles so easily. I wasn't even going to do Van's, but then I thought a little touch up would be good. And then when that was done I thought, maybe something else would be fun too?

Esther sitting on my lap for her cut. She doesn't feel good, and this doesn't really help.

Van across the room getting his initial touch up done.

Esther with her short do.

Van is excited, but the haircutting process makes him a little nervous.

She's using spray on dry wax to style it. We bought some for home styling.

 Back of Esther's hair

A good picture of her new look. I think it is perfect.

 2 cute kids.

We get home but I can't stop taking pictures of his mohawk.

He doesn't mind. I think he already forgot about it and he's excited that I'm paying so much attention to the duct tape game he just created.

He's playing a game where he sets up ramps and obstacles and rolls a roll of duct tape around the house, trying to get it where he wants it to go.

Uh-oh, this little one starts to fade.

This is the last of her today. I carried her up and put her in bed. Hopefully she sleeps all night.

Eating brussels sprouts in a mohawk.

And 2 hours later my little punk rocker falls asleep on the couch as well.
