Seward

We went on a weekend trip to Seward. The weather was beautiful and we had fun.
A whale watching tour, a stay at the Harborview 360 and a visit to The Sea Life Center.

Here are the kids on the boat. It was a nice set up, with tables and big cushy benches. The trip was 4 hours. We brought a lot of snacks and warm clothes.

Esther appreciating some scenery

We did see some humpback whales for a while. I didn't bother taking pictures, you can find better pictures online than I can take with my phone.
But eventually these two were tuckered out.
Van was more bored than anything. I loved the cruise, but he was less than impressed.

Andy watching some Kittywakes. I took this picture for our friend Scott who studies them.

 Some sea lions.

 Van making Jon laugh.
I need to photoshop this. I like Jon in this picture.

 And Van in this one.

When we got back, Jon took a nap while Andy took the kids to the pool.

The next day Van and I walked to a park and the Sea Life Center. Esther, Jon and Andy met us there in the truck.
Here is Van doing a yoga pose on top of a snow pile.

 Visiting the dock.

On the bike trail. It was slippery!
 On the beach.
 At the playground

Great trip, love everything about my little family.
