We had a great day on Wednesday, get ready for a lot of pictures....
Grandma did a lot of prep, making new 'Frozen' themed dresses for Esther's dolls
Making Esther a beautiful princess dress, with a rhinestone E on the chest.
And making the most beautiful, and most delicious, Frozen themed cake!
Here is Esther opening her presents first thing in the morning. I took the day off work, so I got to stay home and play.
Oh also grandma got a tiara and shoes to go with Esther's dress.
The little princess, all dressed up.
We set Esther's toys out on the table to decorate for her party.
From me and Andy she got a unicorn book with with matching necklace. A ball. A roll of 'Frozen' duct tape. A couple beanie babies. All good stuff.
Playing with Jon.
Then at 10, we picked up her friend Piper and headed off to Bouncing Bears.
Then we had lunch at Taco King, before I dropped the girls off at Pre-School.
I picked up balloons for the party and went home to decorate.
We made 3 kinds of mac 'n cheese.
All the girls sitting down to eat.
Candles being lit!
So exciting.
A little dance party after the cake.
Solvej decided that dress was too hard to dance in so she took it off, although Esther to have a mid-evening costume change.
And now her dolls purse matched her dress.
Phew! all in all, a wonderful, fantastic, successful birthday. Happy Birthday sweetheart! I love you!
