He worked with Andy, and when he was ready he had me wait in the toy bedroom. Once I was behind the playhouse he put a clue on the inside of the door and ran away.
It looked like this
(if you can't read that, it says, 'At the Front Door')
This one was harder to read, I had to get Andy's help. It actually starts upsidedown and you read it in a circle, and some letters are smooshed but it says, 'Where do you go when it is hot?'
Then Van was waiting for me outside at the blowup pool. He said my prize was that I got to jump on trampoline with him.
Then he said "Mom you could make one for me. Don't just use the same clues and put them in different places. Unless you need the same words and don't know how to spell them, then that's ok. Also can you make more clues than mine had? And you make it go to Finns house or Grandma and Grandpa's house. And you could be the prize, like you could be waiting there for me!"
So after all of that direction, I made my own set of clues.
I made 7 in total, the last one was an invitation to go to lunch with me the next day.
Here is where the first clue was placed, which was directly outside his bedroom.
I set the scavenger hunt up about 11PM and when he woke up, he came in the bedroom and said, 'I'm ready!'
I followed him as he found the clues.
He found the last clue, and then mom and dad brought him and Esther downtown so we could all eat lunch together.
Kids are fun.
