We are over at grandma and grandpa's house and Van takes a bath there because they have really fun bath toys.
He comes out clean and shiny wrapped in a towel and sits next to me on the couch. I take the damp towel off and wrap him in a big warm blanket and start to read him a story about trucks.
But Van is busy investigating his plumbing.
Van: "Mom, look at this sack." he stretches it out.
Me: "Yeah, that's pretty cool that you have that huh"
He agreed that is was cool. And I was considering if I should explain it's purpose, but should I use technical terms? And does he really want that information yet? And how exactly do I explain it? But before I could formulate a good explanation, Van said thoughtfully.
Van: "Yeah. It holds pee."
And I think I'll just leave it at that for now.
