Lunchbreak exercise

Took a break from work to run stairs in the nice weather. Although run is really a strong work for what I was doing. Walking with a bounce perhaps.

Quick trip to Carrs

I am making dessert for mom's dinner party tomorrow and I had to run to Carrs quickly after work. Esther offered to accompany me.

I can't get over how cute she is shopping in her heels.

Hiking with Esther

Esther, grandma and I went on a hike up the back side of flattop towards peak 3.

Quick snack

 quick tree climb
Then we went to the park for some CrossFit kids, which would have gone better if Esther hadn't fallen asleep in the car...

She was in more of an 'alone time' mood and opted for bike riding instead.

Not a bad day for it.

Claire's American Party

Svea had a party for our friend Claire who became an American citizen this week (she is also a French citizen). I realized I had just the outfit for such an occasion.

Bicycle built for two

Here are some pictures of Esther and Andy on the bike set up. She loves it. She keeps coming in and saying, "Mom, I want to ride my bike with your bike."

First bike ride of the year

Summer weather is back so it is time to re-start our biking adventures. Esther no longer naps, so we decided to test out a way to bring her with us. Therefore we went on a very short ride, just to make sure it would work. We parked at Abbott Loop Community Park, and biked 2 miles to frozen yogurt, and then 2 miles back, stopping at two different playgrounds along the way.

Here is the set-up for Esther and I.

The first playground stop

At Frozen Yogurt. They were happy, but I didn't get a great picture.

At the second playground stop.

Riding a giant mosquito sculpture.

Van climber extraordinaire

He liked to leave his boots on the top of this rock sculpture.

All in all it seemed to work pretty well. Although that pull along + passenger is heavy and I was feeling very pregnant. I was glad we kept to a flat trail, but we may be able to try a longer run next time.
