7 weeks

Ok, we did it, baby number three is underway. Given things are early, and I know there is still a chance this won't take, but statistically, it is more likely that they will.
Plus this neverending nausea and exhaustion that I'm feeling makes me optimistic. It is supposed to be a good sign.

I picked the new outfit and location for our latest comparison series. Hopefully this shirt will fit over my tummy at the end.

Homework

Van accidently brought his friend Paitin's homework home along with his own.
I love looking at the two different styles. I told Van it looks like we're having a dance party at our house.

Sledding

We took the kids sledding at Flattop today. It was a bit cold and windy but a fun little hill.

Ice Skating

We went ice skating after school, Esther's first time!

Arctic Gymnastics

I met Anna at Arctic Gymnastics so the girls and Esther could play.

Hiking with Esther

Desperate for some sun after my trip to the slope, Esther and I hiked to the Flattop lookout.

I AM BACK!

After 9 long days on the North Slope, filling in for the CPF2 production engineer, I am finally back with my family. It was fun, but it was a lot of work. Leaving camp at 4:30AM and arriving back at 6 or 7 PM. Just enough time to eat dinner, fall into bed and start over the next day.

Here are some pictures from the trip.

The New Year's Day dinner. This was DELICIOUS. Filet mignon and giant prawns, asparagus, wild rice and twice baked potatoes. There was way more too, but you can only eat so much.

A view from the same spot at noon.

 Pretty sunrise at noon.

It was fun, hard work and all that, but I have never been happier to see my beautiful family.
