A man with a hat

Van and I went to ski practice, but then cut it short to get hot chocolate. There is no snow and the practice was freezing. I had a dual purpose, running an errand before finding hot chocolate. The errand was to return some items and pick up part of Van's Christmas outfit, and Van opted to wear his suit jacket and hat instead of his snowsuit.

This resulted in the best pictures in the world.

Van got so many compliments on his hat.
As we were leaving an old man with a hat told him, "I like your hat young man, a man with a hat has style."

Bubble bath

The jets turn an ordinary bubble bath into an extraordinary bath foam.

80s party prep

Peter is having a no kids, joint birthday party this weekend with Lindsey Cobb. It is 80s themed, and everyone at the compound has been getting costumes together all week.

Here are some selfies of my quick lunch trip trip to Bebe. All these items were on the clearance rack. So 80s is actually in style now, which made finding something easy.

Jean vest! Leather pants! so much fun. I didn't get either of these though.

 Leather vest. Awesome. Although I didn't buy it. I did end up getting these pants though.

 They let me borrow heels to try stuff on. I thought these were super fun. But I couldn't walk in them.

So I bought these leggings and wore them to CrossFit this morning. They were a hit, everyone thought they were hilarious and awesome. Although since they were on clearance the size is not quite right. A little big at the waist and they kept falling down during the 24" box jumps!

Everyone is getting awesome costumes together, I can't wait to see us all together. I hope someone takes a lot of pictures of the party. 

School Pictures

We got the proofs back for Van's school picture.
I love every one.

The day of school pictures he was very proud because got to make up a silly word.
Me: "What was your word?"
Van: "Appleboogers!"

So now everytime I look at these pictures, I fondly think of appleboogers.

We had the Kanyers over for a lovely breakfast party.
We had waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, orange juice and mimosas.

Girl's Day

I had the best morning taking Solvej, Elin and Esther to the museum.

First I sat everyone down and put on Strawberry shortcake so I would have 25 mins to brush and braid everyone's hair.
Then I let everyone pick out the hair barrettes they wanted from our collection (thanks Aunt Lisa)

Then we were off to the museum. SUCH a cute group.

In the mean time, Van and Finn played with grandma
