Christmas 2017
Christmas Eve, all the presets appeared
The kids found it
I snuck out in the middle of the day and hiked up McHugh ridge, it was gorgeous.
Everyone slept soundly after playing with presents all day.

And Van on the bay window because despite how much they fight, they always like to sleep in the same room.

The bottomless pit
Jon can eat so much.
Like the other day we make eggs, hash browns and corned beef for breakfast, and Jon eats his share, probably a bigger share than the other two kids.
And some blueberries.
And a yogurt.
And then imagining he couldn't possibly eat any more, we take him out of the high chair and put him on the ground.
But Van has been too distracted playing Wii tennis to eat. His breakfast is still on the counter.
Pretty soon we look over and Jon has climbed up to the counter and eaten all of Van's breakfast.
A bottomless pit.
Also when I get home from work Andy assures me he's already eaten, but if any food comes near my mouth he leans in for his bite and says, 'mmmmmmm'.
