It was so beautiful today; I took the kids to Glen Alps for a little skiing.
Esther rode mostly, but got out to ski a little.

Can you see Van adventuring on the ridge? He played in the parking lot snow hill before and after skiing.

Friday with Esther
I had Friday off to play with Esther. Unlike on her birthday she had a great night sleep the night before so we had all kinds of adventures.
She picked out one of my old dresses to wear; we put it on and went to the museum.
Then I had planned to go to CrossFit. Originally I was going to leave her at home, but I decided to bring her along. She did alright during the workout, but these pictures of her helping me put equipment away in her dress are really cute.
As a reward for being (mostly) patient during my workout, we went to Master's Sandwich Shop for lunch. Owned by Wes and Tara Masters, it is one of my favorite lunch places!

Happy Birthday Esther!
On Tuesday March 1st, Esther turned 3 years old.
Then we went to grandmas. Unfortunately the night before her birthday she didn't get much sleep, so I didn't have a big outing planned. I did take the day off of work, but we mostly played at grandmas and then took a nap.
After our nap however, we got dressed up and met some friends at the bowling alley.

The boys
These were the final kid scores. I didn't catch the adults scores before they were erased but Andy was the big winner of the night with 129, then dad with 115, and Svea and I with 64 and 65.
Grandpa barely edged out Esther, who is an impressive bowler.
First she woke up with presents from relatives and some new balloons. The coat is from Aunty Hogean. And Pat and Duane sent her some books.

Happy Birthday sweet pea! Even if you insist that you are 6 and refuse to accept that you are 3.
