Summer shoes

Van and I are going to run The Heart Run together next week. We bought new tennis shoes since his old ones from last year are too small. Here they are, his first pair of 1s.

New Table

The table I ordered in November finally arrived!

Dinosaur Art

Svea made Van the most amazing piece of art for his bedroom... He loves it! So lucky to have such a talented Aunt.

Smoothie and snacks

Esther is amazing, I know she looks messy in these photos, but I can't believe she's interested in using a spoon already. Van still only uses a spoon 65% of the time.

Drawing

I tried to take Van to Bouncing Bears last weekend. We haven't been in about a year so he was excited. But then we got there and it was full! Poor Van, so I took him to my office to make him a hot chocolate. 

He drew this picture, colored it, cut it out and hung it on my wall with tape. 

I annotated with his direction. 

It's cool because it's the first picture I've ever seen where the items he drew had identifiable shapes. Like I have arms and legs (and he even added a head after I asked).

The balloon has a string, the banana and the tomato are the right shapes. 

Flathorn Lake

Dad flew Van and I out to Flathorn lake for the afternoon to visit the Lunoe's who were staying out there for a few days.
It was fun, I wish I had more pictures, especially one of all the kids playing outside in the snow.

Van found some sand, we played here while waiting for the Lunoe's to arrive via snow machine.

So much happened after this, but I got so busy I never took another picture!
