Bananas

Preface: Van hates bananas. The smell can make him throw up.

Me: "So what are you going to do at school today Van?"
Van: "I'm going to go bananas."
Me: "Some math maybe? go to gym? some spelling?"
Van: "Nope, just go bananas. Turning over desks, knocking over bookshelves..."
Me: "You know, if you go bananas, you have to first eat bananas."
Van: (pause)  "I'll go nuts then."

Skiing Archangel Valley Road

We drove up to Hatcher's Pass today and skied Archangel Valley Road. It was beautiful and this little skier did awesome.

We even ran into Marina! What could be better.

Sleepover at grandma's house

Esther, Elin and Solvej were invited to a sleepover at grandma's house. Esther packed her own overnight suitcase.

Skiing Jodhpur

We don't have much snow so I was surprised the skiing at Jodhpur was pretty good.

Veteran's Day 'Van'

Van had a Veteran's Day project for school. We had to pick a Veteran in the family so obviously we went with his namesake.

Mom sent us some pictures.

Not it!

Jon was up in the middle of the night. You can't see anything in this video, but you can hear him talking as he walks around our room and Andy and I try to decide who has to put him back to bed. Not sure if you can hear it in the videos, but luckily for me he kept ending his sentences with 'Dada'.

Ice skating

We met Jessie for a quick ice skate on Potter's Marsh

Van was there on a kick sled, but this is the only picture I got of him. He's too fast.

Halloween

Esther was Belle. Here she is heading to preschool.

I was Little Red Riding Hood, Jon is a tiger, not sure what Andy is doing... Maybe he was Zoolander.

And Van and Finn were storm troopers, but they moved too fast for the cameras.

Skirt

Our cousin Lauren moved back to CA. She gave away some clothes in the move. Isn't this such a fun skirt!?

Cinderella

We all got dressed up to go see Cinderella.

We bought our tickets at the last minute so our seats weren't right next to each other.

But Esther quickly made a new friend.
