Flattop at 23 weeks

I hiked up Flattop from the backside on a cold, windy, (but beautiful) day. I have a picture of me on top of Wolverine peak 23 weeks pregnant with Van and I was curious to see if I could still do that. Wolverine takes about 4 hours and I didn't have that kind of time, plus I was not interested in hiking in any snow, or meeting any bears, so I picked the Flattop, it is the the driest and most exposed hike I could think of. Plus from the backside you don't waste any time walking the flats. It's all straight up, the most economic way to reach the top of a mountain, which I needed so I could tuck the kids in for bed.

Here are some selfies at various heights and directions.

And here I am at the top. I have to say I was very pleased with myself. I made it up in 53 minutes and back down in another 30. But oh my goodness, my legs are so sore today.
