Van and I went to hit a few balls after work.

Kyle's Bachelorette Party
Yesterday we had a bachelorette party for our good friend Kyle. Her wedding is in 2 weeks!
Our first event was to hike to the top of McHugh peak. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to keep up, so Svea carried all my water for me. It was a great trade. I made it with no problems.
In front of Martha's house (Kyle's mom's house).
Our attempt at a self timer picture once we reached the first peak.
Luckily someone came along to take the picture for us.
Kyle and her sister Megan.
Me, Lyndsey, Tory, Kyle and Megan.
McHugh is great, because it is mostly a beautiful ridgeline hike. Here is a description of the stats:
The net climb from the trailhead to the summit is 2200 feet. With the ups and downs of the ridge, however, you will have climbed about 2450 feet to gain the summit and 2700 feet by the time you complete a round trip. The six mile round trip requires three to five hours of hiking time.

View from the peak.
Belly picture from the top. Nearly 27 weeks.
Svea, Megan, Lyndsey and Tory packed in a fantastic picnic. Svea brought stainless steel wine glasses with champagne (chocolate milk for me). We also had fancy cheese, meat, crackers, dried fruit and trail mix.
Then it was time to head back.
The next step was to meet at Svea's house to make sushi, play Card Against Humanity, sit in the hot tub, and watch Magic Mike XXL.
Then the next morning we went to brunch at South. It was great, and even better, with the party at Svea's house I was able to sneak home and see my babies every once in a while.

Water feature
Here is what Andy has been working on.
The water feature.
Here is the best 'before' picture I could find. Look on the right side of the house, where there isn't anything.
And here is the right side of the house now.
A work in progress still, but pretty darn fun.
