Zamzam

I found this picture of Zamzam, the nanny we employed while Van was growing up. I think she is dressed up because it is the end of Ramadan, and she's about 6 month pregnant with Marlies her youngest daughter. In all our time knowing her we really enjoyed learning the Islamic traditions, holidays, and some of the Arabic language. I hope in the US we are able to ward off anti-Muslim sentiments.
