ConocoPhillips picnic

When Van was Esther's age I took him to the ConocoPhillips summer picnic. This year while Van was at his swim lesson, Esther and I went down to check it out.

First we arrive and Esther is not quite sure about the place.

First she tests out some hoola-hoops.

Then, we had an emergency, she was so distracted by the new place that she had a potty accident.
So we went to the outhouse and I fashioned my tank top into a very fashionable skirt. Parenting win!

Now here she is looking at the balloon mosquito. (the picnic's theme was bugs)

Anyway we got to the picnic late because she napped until 5, so we missed most of the other activities, but I think she still had fun. And she's pretty cute.
