Bear Valley Hike

We did a hike up the mountain above Bear Valley after work today. It was great. It's been at least a year since I tried this with Van last and he was so much stronger; he made it all the way to the top.

On the way down we tried to get him to go slowly and carefully instead of jumping from point to point.
Van: "But jumping is my life"

"A well marked and constructed trail leaves from the circle and climbs 1100 feet on switchbacks to the crest of McHugh’s north ridge, at 3200 feet."
