Happy Birthday Jon!

We had a small family get together with three kinds of curry, pizza, and pumpkin chocolate muffins. Lots of balloons, and grandma and grandpa brought over a water table system with boats and a pump, everyone loved it.

Jon had to strip down after his cake.
Peter said Jon could be on the pager instead of him. Jon liked that very much.

Baby shower book

Here is the book from the baby shower. I will write the illustrator of each page if I know it, most of the guests we met for the first time at the party. They were all big river rafters and a lot of fun.

We didn't finish all the letters at the party, so the kids and I did some follow up work.

Baby shower

Setting up for the baby shower. We had a coloring station to make a baby book.

Diaper cake. (before and during party)

Me and Alex, the beautiful mama to be.

Alex and Fede with our kids (because they love being in pictures)

All the pictures I have! It was a great party, we were too busy to take pictures. Alex may have more though, I will try to get them.

The other Esther is in town!

My friend Esther is visiting from Tucson with her daughter Abigail. We had a few people over to celebrate. I wish I took more pictures (Abigail is so cute) but here are four of us that used to have German class together.

Lee, Esther, me and Katie

Lawyer, nuclear/aerospace engineer, petroleum engineer and civil engineer

But united by German.

Esther Adventure

Then in the afternoon Esther and I went on our own adventure. We got matching outfits and then biked to a park.

Van bike adventure

I took Tuesday off to play with the kids before school starts and Van and I biked about 15 miles. We went from our house to downtown. Then out to Earthquake Park where Andy picked us up. It was the greatest bike ride ever.
