Book submitted

Alright. I submitted my picture book manuscript to three publishers this weekend. So I may be able to get back to blogging. Although if I have any success I'll likely want to write more because this process has been fun. 

It takes 3-6 months to hear back, so now I just wait, and if they don't like it for any reason I won't hear anything, so then back to the drawing board. 

Still it has been really fun putting this together.

Soccer Goals

After much of the year spent playing defense, Van went forward and scored two goals in his last game. And someone even caught them on video! So fun.

We spent Friday afternoon at Little Campbell lake. It was beautiful. Smelled terrible.

Evenings

Van pretending to read

 I made Van pretend to read a book so I could take a picture and try to draw it. I did it. but ultimately I decided to submit my book without illustrations.

Svea brought Finn and Van to visit me at the office one day.
